报告摘要:
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) defines a green economy as low carbon, resourceefficient and socially inclusive. A green economy can lead to sustainable growth. The adoption of agreen economy business model can help companies to achieve sustainability targets. With these as thebackdrop, this workshop has been designed to comprise four inter-related sessions. The first twosessions are on the new energy transition, on why it is needed and how it should play out, followed bythe challenges and opportunities in the transition. The third is on energy efficiency, a well-knownconcept but is surprisingly difficult to measure and managed. The last session deals with the latestdevelopments on climate-related disclosure, including issues on corporate climate action.
